Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day at Grand Central

Get your friends together, dress for the occasion and join us at Grand Central Tavern for our 2026 Melbourne Cup Luncheon.

Taking place in our Function Room on Tuesday, 3 November, enjoy an afternoon of great food, good company and all the excitement of Melbourne Cup Day.

Tickets are $60 per person and include a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, followed by a delicious three-course luncheon.

Melbourne Cup Menu

Entrée
Chinese five-spiced duck spring rolls with a hoisin kewpie mayonnaise dipping sauce.

Mains – Alternate Drop
Porchetta stuffed with mixed fruits and herbs, served with roasted vegetables, wilted baby spinach and jus.

OR

200g chargrilled porterhouse cooked medium, served with thyme-infused sweet potato mash, roasted root vegetables and a rich red wine jus.

Dessert
House-made double chocolate brownie topped with chocolate ganache, served with vanilla bean ice cream, honeycomb crumble and fresh strawberries.

HOME MATCH LUNCHEONS

The Central District Football Club (CDFC) invites you to join us before each home match for a special Pre-Match Function held in the Holden Room. Enjoy a delightful two-course meal paired with two hours of complimentary beverages, including beer, wine, and soft drinks.
